Created on location at Low Newton-by-the-Sea I opted to paint from the beach looking towards the uphill road of St. Mary’s Cottages. The foreground boat provided some great foreground interest, in wait to be taken out onto the sea.
This painted featured in the exhibition Northumberland Now at Woodhorn Museum in 2024.
