I always enjoy working from the Cherry Blossom with their Spring floral displays. This piece was painted in Jesmond Dene, not far from my home. The blossom was beginning to fall and so the petals were starting to collect underneath the tree. The impressionist marks to capture the colour is always a huge joy to put in.
