Painted alongside members of Plein Air North East, I was immediately taken by the shape of the bridge with it’s arches and the strong light effect taking place on the bridge so had to capture it. The Anchor Hotel features in the background.
This painting was exhibited as part of the Northumberland Now exhibition at Woodhorn Museum in 2024.
