Tree reflections in the Dene was created in a single painting session at my local park, Jesmond Dene in Newcastle upon Tyne. My aim was to create a patchwork impression of the value and colour to capture the subject of the trees and their beautiful moving reflections on the surface of the water, which was my main focus for the painting.
